A frequency shifter, free.
A pitch shifter multiplies every frequency by the same ratio. PsyShift adds the same number of hertz to all of them, which pulls harmonics out of line. Small shifts give formant changes and slow beating, large ones give ring-mod clang, and a tempo-synced LFO sweeps it into Doppler wobble.

Windows installer, VST3
PsyShift is free: the beta has no trial and needs no license file. Requires Windows 10 or later, 64-bit and a VST3 host. Mac versions are on the way: get one email when they are ready.

Pre-release installers are not yet code-signed with a Windows certificate, so SmartScreen may say it “prevented an unrecognized app from starting”. Choose More info, then Run anyway. Release builds will be signed.
In PowerShell, Get-FileHash .\PsyShift-1.0.0-beta-20261008-1649.exe should print the SHA-256 above. The signature file carries the same hash, signed with the MadPsy key that signs every plug-in’s content.
